Excellent things about this weekend:

• Breakfast with my madre
• Checking out the bro's new place
• Gran Torino and Tropical Mike and Ike's
• Dinner cooked by a friend's fabulous fiance
• Helping said friend get a few things worked out
• Late night conversation with another friend
• Sleeping in
• A dusting of snow
• Getting the car in working order
• Free Dill Rye and a cookie
• Having lunch, a beer, a cupcake and hilarity with an awesome person
• Cashing in a rain check for drinks and good conversation

If the rest of 2009 goes like this, we'll be in excellent shape!
